We can offer the adventurous traveller another way to explore the Northern Territory landscape and wildlife. Mount Bundy is surrounded by the Burrell Ranges and has access to a couple kilometres of river frontage to the Adelaide River. This scenic country lends itself to bushwalking and some great Trail Rides, taking in breakaways, floodplains, billabongs and awesome wildlife. On horseback you see so much more.
Our horses at Mount Bundy Station are mostly Quarter Horses, known for their hardiness and quiet nature. The rides are guided by experienced horsepersons who have knowledge of the local birdlife and animals that frequent the area. Up to 6km or more is covered in an average ride. Longer Treks are available on request .
All ages and riding abilities are catered for and horses are matched to the riders. Younger children can be catered for with led rides available.
We can tailor make our rides depending on experience and needs.
All riders will be provided with a helmet and must sign a waver before riding. Riders must wear closed in footwear.
Only 6 horses maximum will go out at a time. This ensures total control and safety of the riders. The rides are always guided by 1 or 2 guides. Often a guide can lead a very nervous rider.
Notes

** For trail rides over 2 hours, experienced riders capable of riding at all paces only.
