Mt Bundy Station offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Australian bush in comfort.

From the large, cool Homestead, set high on a hill, the panorama includes cattle and buffalo, billabongs and a plethora of bird life.

In addition to Bed & Breakfast accommodation in the Homestead, Mt Bundy Station is a popular and economic conference venue for many Territory, interstate and international groups and can cater for hosted groups of all sizes.

Special needs guests are welcome

Having hosted Camp Quality over several years we are particularly aware of the specific needs of those confined to wheelchairs. Our Camp Quality guests have enjoyed activities under our care such as ballooning, fishing and basketball.

Billabong House is permanently accessible by wheelchair and the toilets and shower are in close proximity.

History

Mt Bundy Station was founded by the colourful pioneer grazier and reknowned buffalo-hunter, Hubert "Fred" Hardy. He is pictured at left with a trophy and the tools of his trade, a trusted rifle and loyal dog. This picture was taken in 1940 just before his tragic accident.
