Litchfield National Park (29 km)

From Mt Bundy Station you can access the nearby Litchfield National Park on a day trip and swim in WANGI FALLS, BULEY ROCK HOLE and the impressive FLORENCE FALLS. Take a walk around Greenant Creek, Walker creek and Tolmer falls. In the dryer months you can 4WD through the park and visit Sandy Creek falls and Blythe Homestead.

Douglas Daly (Tjuwaliyn) Hot Springs, Butterfly Gorge Nature Park (47km)

Located just an Hour from Mt Bundy Station, the thermal pools create an oasis for birdlife. 4wd access to Butterfly Gorge is well worth the effort for a swim and beautiful scenery.

 

Adelaide River Resort (3km)

"Crocodile Dundee" fans get a kick out of visiting the bar at the historic inn. Home of "Charlie" the Buffalo star of the Australian film. Lunch and dinner is available here everyday.

Adelaide River War Cemetery (5km)

A sobering reminder of the bombing of Darwin in 1942. Set in beautiful gardens. Dawn service ANZAC ceremony held here every year 25th April.

Our very own local swimming Hole located along Dorat Rd, short walks and great scenery. Our horse treks take in this spectacular country.

Adelaide River Jumping Crocs 1½ hrs

There are a few tour companies offering 1 hr to whole day tours on the Adelaide River. These tours are available via the ARNHEM Highway crossing closer to the mouth of the Adelaide River. A great day trip from Mt Bundy Station.
